U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY
Class of 1963
Foundation
October 18, 2004
Dear Classmate,
Our Class Foundation nominating committee, David Robinson, Larry Marsh and Al Griggs, have completed their work of considering seven highly qualified volunteers for two open Trustee positions. The result of their work is to nominate, Harry P. Salmon Jr. and William L. Howard for these two positions. Attached are short Bios of each of these gentlemen for your consideration as well as a ballot for your return to me. (Click here for bios/ballot)
I would also request that you consider a donation to the Class Foundation for ³Taking Care of Our Own², or our Reunion project ³Class of 1963 Center for Academic Excellence², or the Unrestricted Fund for the Naval Academy as funds are always needed to support Midshipman activities. Please make you check out to ³The Naval Academy Foundation² and designate in the memo section of the check, or on a separate note, how you desire the donation to be allocated. To make it easy just put your check in the return envelope enclosed to me and I will forward it.
Please forward your ballots and your checks to me no later than November 15, 2004 at the following address, 5051 Chatham Valley, Toledo, Ohio 43615 in the enclosed envelope.
The election results will be published in a Foundation newsletter to be mailed in late November.
Thank you for your vote and your donation. Your support in the past has been appreciated and always will be, but needs remain.
Best Personal Regards
David B. Puckett
